Start of The End of This Decade

First and foremost, let us pray in silence for the former President Abdurrahman Wahid, which left us earlier yesterday. He may seems as a witty and emotional person, but he also the one that promote pluralism in Indonesia. Finally after not writing for quite some time (not because of the writer's block, it's just that at that time I only wanted to amuse myself) I decided to write again and due to the dates, what more can be best than writing your new year's resolution?

On my last ones I believe I have accomplished my resolutions but one, that is because the condition does not allow me to complete that, not because I did not want to.

So here I go with my 2010 resolutions:

  1. Start on Project 365 and consistently keep it running.
  2. Be more accountable.
  3. Less procrastinating and be more productive.
  4. Save more money.
  5. Travel more!
  6. Live the healthy way.
  7. Try to cycle everyday.
  8. Try to cook everyday.
  9. Be more greener.
  10. Live without debts and Blackberry.
  11. Buy my sister a Spiderman notebook.
  12. Learn diving.
  13. Climb at least 2 mountains.
  14. Go to Halong Bay!
  15. Learn, Write, Read and Listen More.
  16. Know what I want and what I need as well as what I am worth of.
  17. Do the coming of age ritual: travelling solo!

Much more than my last one, but I believe I still can fulfill this one. 2009 have teach me a lot, so I guess 2010 would consisted of more struggling. I only hope I can achieve a period of contentment in the coming year.

That's it, I'm off and Happy New Year Everybody!

Godspeed

Happy New Year Everyone!

Although it seemed too cliché, yet we are still keen to repeat the greeting for centuries. and thus in the beginning of this year I am wishing you all to be patient, as at the end of the year we are faced with injustice, war and the reality that our progressions is meant so little compared to the regression that we took. Therefore in the happiness that most of us gained, there should also be a concern for our step backwards. In this occasion as well I would like to present a little promises, which some people called as "New Year's Resolutions", while people in the mental health awareness have been notifying the hazard of making a resolutions. I personally still think that this is need to be done over the course of years, to keep ourselves in the track of life and achieve our personal goals.

Therefore, these are my New Year's Resolutions:

1. Be more wiser and ready to take actions.

2. Be a loving person for her.

3. Be closer to God, my family and her.

4.  Get my driver's license.

5. Read more.

6. Write more.

7. Open up to new people , their way of life , the way they think and their beliefs and be tolerant about it.

8. Learn to save up my money.

9. Go even greener (target: use no plastic bag at all).

10.  Get healthy and stay that way.

Well that's about it and hopefully I could keep up to it

Cheers.

And another year almost passed

2007 had been very kind to me, in a way that I perceive it. A lot had been happened including in it is my desire to write and creating a blog, as well as my birthday which I can proudly say that I'm legally adult age-wise, but still trying to become more and more mature but at least I can say that I have new perceptions of how life should be, and I'll make those perceptions to become my principles, my guides in many time to come. 2007 is not all just about me, other people perceptions and the world and universe too have evolved become older and hopefully meeting our expectations.I really haven't make any resolutions for 2008, but I think I'll make a few, which is really unlikely for me. Last time it's only hopes that the next year would be better than this, now I wanted new things, I want to graduate from my university and go have a job somewhere, these two are my goals that have to be attained in 2008. Other stuff? I'm still planning it but I wanted to travel somewhere preferably alone, or do some social working, there should be time where we have to reach the community I believe.

In the end I would like to thank God for His eternal blessing, for His forgiveness, for Him I could breath and do my work everyday, as well as everybody that have been supporting me all this year mom dad, my sister, my big family, my significant other and my friends which although I won't be able to meet again with you or I haven't seen you for a long time, trust me we'll get back again under the same sky, breath the same air, and reminisce the old days.

Cheers, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
